ADULT SKILLS SERIES: APPLE CIDER
This program is the second as part of the Adult Skills Series, which kicked off in September. Our adult skills series focuses on exposing participants to new experiences and skills. Most programs will include snacks, a sample, or a take home item. Use your new skills towards improving your health and sustainability!
For our second program in the series, guest speaker Kyle French will be showing us how to make fresh, homemade apple cider on Sunday, October 14th at 2:00pm in the CCCB Office (629 River Rd, Cherokee).
During this hour presentation, Kyle will be focusing on picking the right apples for your cider, taking you through each step of his process for preparing the apples, then he’ll show you his homemade fruit press. A sample of his cider will be available, but he’ll also bring jars that you can purchase for $5.
The event is free, but registration is required by Thursday, October 11th.
Future adult skills series topics will include homemade bath & body products, essential oil make and take, beginner homebrewing, beginner beekeeping, pressure cooking, and more!
