ADULT SKILLS SERIES: FALL FLOAT
The Cherokee County Conservation Board is beginning a new adult skills series in September. The series will kick off with a fall fun float on the Little Sioux River on Sunday, September 23rd at 2:00pm.
Our adult skills series focuses on exposing participants to new experiences and skills. Most programs will include snacks, sample, or take home item. Use your new skills towards improving your health and sustainability!
The paddle could take around 3 hours, so plan on bringing water and various snack items. It is recommended that participants dress for the weather.
Participants can bring their own canoe or kayak to the event or they can borrow one from the Cherokee County Conservation Board free of charge. The event is free, but registration is required and participation is limited. Registration is required by Thursday, September 20th.
Future adult skills series topics will include homemade bath & body products, essential oil make and take, beginner homebrewing, beginner beekeeping, pressure cooking, and more!
