Barnes Area is an undeveloped natural area providing fishing access on the Little Sioux River in northeastern Cherokee County. The 9 acre area consists of a narrow strip of brushy timber and flood plain. Hunting is permitted. Canoe access is provided by a stairway adjacent to the parking area.
