HALLOWEEN HIKE AT SILVER SIOUX RECREATION AREA
The Cherokee County Conservation Board (CCCB) is hosting a Halloween Hike on Saturday, October 9th at Silver Sioux Recreation Area. The night will be filled with activities for everyone from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
The evening will begin with trick-or-treating in the campground at 6:30pm. The CCCB is hoping to fill the park on this crisp October evening by offering free camping on Saturday to those willing to hand-out candy to the little princesses, ghouls, and monsters.
When you're done collecting candy, head over to the Barn for pumpkin decorating! Pumpkins are limited and are first-come, first-serve. There will also be fall-theme games. Activities in the Bar will take place from 7:00-8:30pm.
Campsite decorating is encouraged! In fact, this year we'll be giving out a prize to the best campsite. Get your site registered by 7:00pm. winner will be announced at 8:30pm and be awarded a weekend at the Silver Sioux Lodge. Campsites are first-come, first-serve.
