The congregation of the Mount Pleasant Church donated this 2-acre plot to the Cherokee County Chapter of Pheasants Forever,
after relocating their buildings to Marcus, Iowa. PF turned it over to the Cherokee County Conservation Board.
It is maintained as a grassland habitat area for pheasants and other wildlife. Hunting is not permitted.
