This beautiful recreation area includes picnic shelters, twelve non-electric campsites ($5/site/night) and wooded trails, all along the Little Sioux River. Anglers can fish for channel catfish and walleye, and hunting is permitted from October 1 - April 30. Pit toilets are handicapped-accessible. Horses and snowmobiles are welcome on park roads. Visitors can enjoy wildflowers blooming in the park from April through October, and birdwatchers will find wintering eagles, migrating warblers and many resident songbirds.
