Trap Field RFP

TRAP FIELD RFP
The Cherokee County Conservation Board (CCCB) is accepting proposals to furnish the Board with necessary labor and materials, except as provided by the Board, for the construction of a trap shooting area with four fields and houses located at the Licklider Shooting Complex, 5949 Little Sioux Road, Cherokee, IA.
These fields will provide an area for local school shooting teams to practice and to compete. Open shoots will be scheduled for the general public during non-practice or competition times.
The project includes layout, construction, and installation of approximately four trap fields with concrete lanes and one in ground pitted trap house per field. (Documents located below.)
Proposals must be detailed as to the work to be performed to enable completion of the trap area project according to plans and specifications. Include proposed start and completion dates. Include company name, representative, address and phone numbers. Funds for this project will be collected from grants, local fundraising, and through the CCCB’s budget. Fundraising will include giving donors naming rights to a field for the cost of field installation.
The Board would like this project to be completed by September 30, 2024. Area will be ready for field construction by May 31, 2024. All proposals are due by noon CT Friday, January 5, 2024 at the CCCB, 629 River Road, Cherokee, Iowa 51012. Proposals will be reviewed by the Board at their meeting on Monday, January 8, 2024.
