 Summer Camp Registration
​(Completed grades listed is preferred)

 ​
Intro to Fishing 
  • 9:00am-11:30am at Spring Lake Park (We provide equipment)
  • 4th grade and up: June 10
  • Registration is required by June 6th.
  • 1st-3rd grade: June 26 
  • Registration is required by June 20th.

Nature's Whodunnit? 
  • 1st-3rd grade
  • July 1 from 9:00am-11:30am at Spring Lake Park.
  • Registration is required by June 27th

River Ramblers (6th-8th grades)
  • July 8-10
    • drop off at CCCB headquarters on July 8th with a cold lunch and pick-up July 10th 
    • We provide equipment
  • This event is a partnership with Plymouth County and has a $75 fee to cover food and some materials. 
  • Registration is required by July 4th. 

Intro to Archery (4th grade & Up)- FULL
  • July 15 at Licklider Shooting Complex (We provide equipment)
  • Registration is required by July 11th.

Kayak Camp (4th grade & Up)- FULL
  • July 22 from 9:00am- 3:00pm. Drop off and pick-up at the CCCB Office.
  • We provide equipment
  • Register by July 18th.

Sandbar Strolls 
  • 9:00am-11:30am at TBD
  • 1st-3rd grade: July 24
  • Registration is required by July 18th.
  • 4th grade and up: July 29
  • Registration is required by July 25th.

There is a $10/family fee for camps this year. If you sign up multiple kids or one kid for multiple camps, the cost is still only $10. (The exception is River Ramblers which is $75/participant. One child in River Ramblers and another in any other camp would equal $85.) Fees go towards the Steve Nelson Memorial Scholarship. Please contact us if the fee is keeping you from sending a child to camp ([email protected] or 712-225-6709).
 
Each camp has limited space. Please let us know if you need to cancel.

    Summer Camp Registration

    I understand the I need to remit payment within 1 week of registering my camp participant. Cash or check can be dropped off or mailed to CCCB, 629 River Rd, Cherokee, IA 51012. No payment within 1 week of registration forfeits my camp participant's place. Fees are non-refundable.

    I am willing to let the above named child participant in the activities of the Cherokee County Conservation Board (CCCB) Camp Program. Should an emergency arise during the program, the above person(s) may be contacted. In the event that the above mentioned person(s) cannot be reached, I give permission to the program presenter(s) to seek appropriate medical attention.

    ​I also release the CCCB from any responsibility of injury to my child or myself in the event of an accident. I understand that photos taken during this camp may be used in publicity documents produced for and by the CCCB.
